Blessing of the Combines Cancelled Due to COVID-19

It is with heavy hearts that we have decided to cancel the Blessing of the Combines festival this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival is one of the most heavily attended events in Snow Hill, with 3000 – 4000 people packed on Green Street and the surrounding downtown area. We felt that we could not risk the health of our residents and visitors by holding an event that might serve to spread the virus.

We will continue to honor our local farm families and hope to replace the event with educational and fun displays or activities related to agriculture. Look for more information by late summer.

Please mark your calendars for the next Blessing of the Combines which will be held on August 7th, 2021.

It’s a priority at Worcester County Farm Bureau to give our next generation the tools they need to succeed, while improving food awareness in our communities.
