Congratulations to the Hancock family of La Plata! They were presented with the Farm Family of the Year award, which is awarded in collaboration with Soil Conversation, Extension, and Farm Bureau. The family was recognized at our annual banquet.

Charles County Farm Bureau hosted our annual Legislative Breakfast on January 13th to hear from both elected officials and those running for office. All of the food used was provided from local Charles County farmers.

On Saturday, October 27th, Charles County Farm Bureau presented an award to Senator Thomas “Mac” Middleton in recognition of over 30 years of outstanding representation of agriculture in Charles County and Maryland. Senator Middleton has been a great friend to Farm Bureau over the years.


It’s a priority at Charles County Farm Bureau to give our next generation the tools they need to succeed, while improving the level of food awareness in our communities.
