MDFB Ag Ambassador Program

The Maryland Farm Bureau (MDFB) AG Ambassador program is a competitive and educational initiative with the goal of cultivating young agricultural professionals. After submitting applications, resumes, and attending orientation, county ambassadors will compete in an in-person interview and Discussion Meet panel. Two MDFB AG Ambassadors will be selected at the 109th Annual Meeting of the Maryland Farm Bureau to represent Maryland Farm Bureau and Maryland’s agriculture for one year (December 2024-December 2025).

The winners will receive $1500 over their tenure as the 2025 MDFB AG Ambassadors, representing Maryland Farm Bureau at events such as Maryland State Fair and Day-in-Annapolis, reimbursements for public appearances, and an all-expenses paid trip to the American Farm Bureau Federation FUSION Conference in March 2025.

Contestants MUST be selected by their County Farm Bureau to participate in this program. Contestants must be between the ages of 17 to 21, on or before September 20th, 2024. The participant, or their parent(s)/guardian(s), must hold an active MDFB membership prior to September 20th and that membership must be maintained throughout their year of service. This does include student membership. Previous finalists are not eligible to compete again, however anyone who was not a finalist is encouraged to reapply.

Please share the link to the application, or fill out the form below, with any individual you feel would make a great representative for Maryland Farm Bureau.

Please contact Kara Hutchison, Eastern Shore Regional Field Manager, for more information. Applications open on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, and are due by Friday, September 20th, 2024 at 4 PM.
