Award for Maryland!
Brooks and Katie Long
will be
representing not only Washington
County but the entire state at the
American Farm Bureau Federation
Convention in Seattle, Washington in
January, 2010. They competed in the
contest in December at the Maryland
Farm Bureau Convention in Ocean
City and then learned of their
winning at the Maryland Young
Farmers Leadership Retreat
at the Wisp in February. They also
have the opportunity to go to the
National Young Farmers Leadership
Retreat in Tulsa, Oklahoma
in February, 2010.
